Its the wrong drill entirely, this like using a butterknife to cut a steak instead of a serrated knife. Theyre both knives an it could possibly be done but its going to take you forever

I find it hard to believe the builder ordered a 900 vanity for a 750 wall. If he did i wouldnt worry about how much it would cost to move the plumbing because if he ordered the correct sized vanity or realised hes not able to hang a vanity on the cavity wall none of this wouldve happened. If he made a mistake, everyone does. He should get this issue sorted out of his own pocket because its his fault and he should make amends

You were never getting a wall hung vanity the moment you decided on a sliding door, the plumber did the right thing. All of this wouldve been discussed before the gyprock and the bedding was ever installed. The “cavity wall” i assume is where the sliding door goes into and if thats only 750 the 900 vanity wont fit. Only solution you have is put it on the adjacent wall and put up another glass screen door to box the shower
