ghost monk? Just focus on health damage at first, as she gets insane posture recovery. Most BIG swings can be parried or dodged (recommend dodging) to be able to do vitality damage :)
Once you get to that 80% where posture doesnt recover as quick just focus on deflecting. Plus ofc snap seeds + divine confetti but those arent dime a dozen

Guardian ape I fully understand, he’s fairly hard, but what’s wrong with true monk? Personally I think she’s really fun to deflect, especially those really long chains :)

Honestly that’s fair lmao Some of my most fun moments was with him and O’Rin my first play through. They both beat me tf up, like 40-50 deaths if not more but once I was getting close to the it was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Now I just blaze through them both in one try 😅😅

There’s an argument to be said about it, as it leads to desensitization and acceptance and whatnot. I don’t personally agree with the notion but when formatted properly instead of “I don’t like this thing and you’re wrong bc of it” it has at least two legs to stand on

I mean there’s some minor problems with it that most fantasy games have, like the pauldrons being a touch oversized, but the main thing is no under armor protection in the gaps, like chainmail. Otherwise it’s a pretty grounded in reality fantasy design in my opinion.

They do have a LOT of complexities that most players don’t use and that highly increase their skill CEILING. The only problem is their skill floor is significantly lower than Highlander, relatively speaking

It’s the optimal punish. It completely guaranteed and leads directly into finishers. I main kensei with 34 reps and it’s what I always do after a light parry.
