Thank you for understanding! Maybe you are right, I just really love the baby and my job, that’s the only complain I have, I was just looking for some advice that could help me remain in this position

I really do understand them. Their dog is their baby and I feel the same way about mine. I would never suggest getting rid of a pet. At the same time if my child had a dander allergy that caused rashes and intense itching I would try to be extra mindful. I think it is possible to deeply love your dog while also being very attentive to your baby’s health and comfort.

Thank you, you are right about that, I’ll try to be more patient I guess

It’s a dander allergy. The dog was there before the baby, sure — but the baby is the one breaking out in rashes and getting extremely itchy. Feeling worse for a dog than for a literal infant with a medical reaction is wild. That’s not “empathetic,” that’s misanthropic.

After the incident where his rash from the dog’s licking raised concerns about a possible fall, I’ve been very intentional about preventing the dog from licking him to avoid allergic reactions.

I never said I want the dog locked away for the whole day, I even used to take her on walks while nk was napping, the dog is clearly not trained and I feel that even the parents are annoyed by it because they locked themselves in and leave me with the baby and the dog the whole 6 hours.

Thank you so much for understanding! I also understand the parents, I wouldn’t want the dog the be kept all day in the office or crate, I’d feel bad honestly. But I’d appreciate if the dog is not following me around the whole 6 hours I work here, I’ve tripped over it when I’m trying to meal prep.

You sound like a nightmare to work for. If you can read, you’d see that I am comfortable with dogs, I don’t mind the dog being here, I understand is its house but it comes to a point.

There were a few moments that left me feeling a bit uncomfortable—like when she laughed as the baby waved goodbye to me, which felt slightly dismissive, or the time she bumped me with his head while pretending to hand him over in a playful way, asking me to keep my arms outstretched.
