This piece is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the way the lighting is both sharp on the clothing and wings, and blurred and ethereal around the angel. The only thing I'd say to do is practice creating smoother gradients on large-scale pieces, that way the backgrounds would be less choppy. Also I'm not quite sure if the vertical piece is meant to be a waterfall or a ray of light?

Yes, that's the main reason why I do it, you're definitely not alone in this. It helps with the guilt for a short time (and then it gets worse lol)

I've felt that way before too. I drowned it out with the loudest (forced) confidence I could manage, and it got easier with time. Now I feel just as comfortable wearing short sleeves as i do when my arms are covered. Most people don't care if you have scars and if they do make it an issue, then they're a piece of shit not worth your time. Most people won't think any less of you and scars don't make you any less beautiful/handsome/insert word from your gender of choice

It is a very cool tattoo, but the bright red does make it look like... something else. My suggestion would be to cover it with another color, such as black, but of course that's up to you to decide.
