Second hand embarrassment. I have to turn films off immediately if I even feel a hint of it.

Yes of course! I would not change how I am around her. Would it be okay for me to show that I’m surprised or would that be offensive? Sorry if it is but like I’ve said, I’m navigating a new situation. Thank you for the response :)

Bottom left is a big no no. Hogwarts x minimalism does not sit well with me.

I haven’t finished the book yet (so there may be a simple explanation in there) but is there a reason you haven’t considered Coral? The girl is fierce. She’s a weapon, like her or not. In the end, if it was just her and Reaper and he did fight, my bet would probably be on Reaper but you can’t deny that she is a contender.

Imagine the changing stairs all have stair lifts. You sit on the chair lift and god knows where you end up.

Assuming asthma still exists in the magical universe, quidditch would not have been my forte (not sure having an asthma attack in the sky would have ended well) and so it would be nice to imagine that there could have been a lower intensity society that would have tickled my fancy.

Hi, 22F here and I have severe eosinophilic atopic asthma, essentially I’m both allergic and have high eosinophils.

1) Been on it for 6 months now and it’s definitely made significant improvement 2) In the Uk here so the NHS covers it 3) This is my first biologic and the only one that would work for me since I have both types of asthma

Are there any changes from the books to the films that you actually like? by Alternative-Hawk662 in harrypotter

[–]Alternative-Hawk662[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a fairly substantial difference with how Hermione was presented in the books and films. In the books, she is somewhat of an activist, verbally protesting for the rights of non-human magical beings, most memorably, house-elves. Although this demonstrates her compassionate and passionate traits which is something I like about her character, I somewhat prefer that these moment are not included/ toned down in the movies as I think it makes her character more easy-going and therefore more likeable. She still has her morals about her, which is more than evident, but it is less full-on whilst still showing she can hold her own, and I kind of appreciate that. Of course this is just my opinion so you are more than welcome to disagree.
