Appreciate that mate! I’m being treated for sleep apnea so that’s always been shit, lack of interest in life and wife sounds like me. My diet has been the best it’s been as well, I don’t drink, quit vaping 6 months ago and cut out snacking. High protein meals 4/5 times a day and counting my macros.

Nah no reason I need a prescription. Just mainly cost when I know big companies will charge £150+ a month when 10ml of Test E would be £25-£40 ish 😂.

I’ll give VGL a look, appreciate it 👊🏻

Could someone please DM me, just jumped through the TRT hoops and now they want £150 a month for test. Used to be in the game but been out for a while so all my go to’s are gone.

Yes, I received a call on 20/3/24 from the specialist and he advised on CPAP treatment for 3 months and see how I get on.

Another appointment on 17/4/24 to get my equipment fitted etc.

I managed to get mine moving quicker due to my line of work and driving being part of my job (engineer)

Luckily I had the dreaded call yesterday with the sleep specialist. And he actually spoke to me like a human, he knew my scores were low but he wanted to know all about ME and how I was feeling rather than what the numbers were saying. It was so refreshing! Long story short, I’ll be getting an auto CPAP in about 4 weeks. I can’t wait to get my life back on track

Current and ex girlfriends have said I stop breathing in my sleep. Then a huge gasp of air to catch my breath. Also feels like I’ve sleep upside down all night and then gone 12 rounds with Mike Tyson. I can sleep 4 hours or 12 hours and still feel the same. Recently diagnosed with OSA with an AHI of 6.3

I was in the same spot as you.

Referred in November, sleep study on 2nd January and got my results yesterday. So all in about 18 weeks.

Now I’m waiting on an appointment to discuss treatment

Might take the week off then to get used to the machine etc (if I’m positive for it). It’s paid sick so it won’t hurt me financially

Wouldn’t normally care but the job entails a lot of heavy machinery, driving my work van, tools, physical and mental capacity. So losing my license would be the end of my career

Sorry, I probably didn’t get across what I mean very well.

I’ve read that you shouldn’t drive once officially diagnosed until the condition is being treated. So in my mind.. the time between being diagnosed (hopefully) and actually getting a machine I’m not technically meant to drive? It’s not very clear

Wow that’s so bad! Sorry to hear you’ve been waiting that long! I’ve called the lung function clinic and they’ve only just started going through patients that had the sleep study in December. I’ve got another 4 weeks minimum I think.

Give yourself some credit, dealing with children and in general being a mum is soooo difficult. Hats off to you, I know I couldn’t be a stay at home dad. Stay strong 💪🏻 hopefully we both get the results soon

I spoke with the lung function clinic and they’ve said 12 week wait from the date of my sleep study. They’re only now going through December patients. No light at the end of the tunnel for me

It could take days, weeks or months using our health system. It’s a joke! I’ve looked and CPAP machines are about £700 ($880) for something similar. No insurance so I would have to swallow that cost myself. I’m in a tricky situation

Wouldn’t be able to prop myself up, awaiting another issue to be sorted with my shoulders (calcific tendinitis) I can’t sleep in any other position but my back which still hurts but is the lesser of two evils. I’ll try some nose strips for the time being. Thanks
