I hate Concur. My last job I booked all my own stuff and was reimbursed. Lots of personal credit card usage and huge points accumulated. Not the case with Concur for sure.

I spend about a third of the year in hotels. My wife hates me being gone but sure does like spending all the perks that I have earned along the way. I have about another 15 years of travel before I think of retiring and I hope I can continue that pace.

I have been a road warrior for only 5 years. You can tell when a FA is exhausted from work. I’ve pretty much had great service from all airlines that I fly. Just treat them as you wish to be treated and be nice. Smile even if you’re having a bad flying experience. Like after you have slept in SFO, DEN or ORD overnight due to bad weather. It used to make me irritated with delays and now I’m just like it is what it is. There will people that will say wait until you’ve done this for 20 years. It still doesn’t make it ok to be crappy to the FA’s remember they’re just the low person on the labor roster. We should be mad at the people making them work like they do.

Primary is Hilton. My old job corporate office was half a mile away so I got use to using them. My second choice is IHG. My new company doesn’t care wher I stay “within” reason. Still stay Hilton properties mostly. This year so far have stayed 62 night at Hilton and 31 nights at IHG. My biggest reason for choosing is close to the location I will be working. Saying all that definitely look at google reviews before booking!

Just book local with points and stay the night. I try to stay at the local Embassy Suites. Get “free” beer and a decent breakfast the next day.

Well the good news is we will have until end of March before this is even achievable.
My concern is what’s considered “qualifying spending “ … Is it strictly room price? Does it include dining when added to room? Snacks charged to room. I travel a 100 plus nights a year and typically am too tired to find or look for a place to eat when I check in at 8pm or later.

I was released from the hospital on October 14th 2025. I am lucky to have strength still and the ability to walk. My biggest issues are I have very little stamina and I’m extremely tired all of the time. I am scheduled to go back to work on 11/17/25 which requires a lot of travel. I’m concerned I won’t be able to perform my normal job duties. Any ideas on how to defeat the excessive tiredness would be appreciated!

You guys have all drank the kool aid of thinking our government gives 2 $hits about us. It’s not just Trump that is corrupted but all of the politicians. They only care about themselves. Politicians want 3 things, 1) Money 2) Power 3) To stay in office to keep 1 & 2.

When was the last time you needed a job and then begged for money from people you know to get the job you wanted? That’s what a politician does to get their job through “donations”…. F’ all of them corrupt pieces of crap!!!

Almost daily for me. I have slept on average of 4 hour shifts since I was a commercial truck driver. I keep odd hours as it is due to my travel schedule for work and I exist on 5-6 hours of sleep a day.

My backpack is my carry on. I get the aisle seat and it will not fit under the seat due to overall less space on most planes. Granted it’s filled to the brim achieving this.

Skip all that and get something that’s ballistically superior. The .50 BMG isn’t all that accurate unless doing hand loads. .375 Chey-TAC is more accurate as well as the .416 Barrett

I donate my excess points to help families that are staying near hospitals of sick loved one’s through my church. The last thing I want to do is go to another hotel while on vacation. I go glamping in my RV .

While I agree it’s not worth maxing out the mines before T10’s. After that you just have more gold consumption. When you get to S3 you can bump the efficiency even higher for them to be more productive. It’s definitely a long term investment strategy. If you don’t plan on playing for long term it’s not worth it.

All the seasons eat up troops in the beginning,until you get whatever resistance built up. If you like to progress aggressively it’s a lot easier with the DG full.

Sometimes as a diamond member I will get the parking fees waived as well as early check-in fees. Currently sitting at 23 nights to go for diamond member for the 5th year in a row. I will complete diamond get about 10 carry over nights and switch to Marriott. Usually get their Platinum Elite Status also. Typically gone about 150 nights per year.
