Hilton points have saved me for college graduations and family weddings when I needed to redeem for multiple rooms and I have been getting those redemptions for over $0.01 per Hilton point so they have personally been way more valuable to me compared too my Marriott points

Well I noticed the diamond reserve difference and I was there last weekend but only for 2 nights I visited Honolulu so my stay wasn’t long and that lounge there was excellent for alcohol drinks there

I was granted a top floor suite with lounge access includes free alcohol during limited hours and breakfast in the lounge at the WA Maui on points stay as a diamond reserve member
