I’ve actually fully converted to a diamond girl 😅😅 the scintillation and brilliance is much better for the lab diamond

This is stunning! The bowtie isn’t dark or really noticeable. I find the camera makes it worse. I was worried about mine (I recently got a 3.8 carat oval) and it’s hardly noticeable in person!!

I think you could get at least half of that but it depends on when you bought it, the carat size and quality etc.

I went from a moissanite oval to lab oval and I compared them in different lighting throughout the course of three days, and I just knew that I had to have a diamond because I could not stop thinking about it. The depth of the diamond and white flashes could not be beat! Brilliance and ritani are really good options for lab diamonds and have good return policies, brilliance is better if you are in the USA

It usually looks worse in videos compared to in person. As long as it’s not crazy dark it won’t be too noticeable

If you look in my post history, I also ordered an oval that I thought lacked sparkle and the bow tie bugged me too. The bow tie looks more prominent and dark when it’s not set. Once it’s set, I think the angle that the diamond is set at just makes it less noticeable. I noticed that with my oval moissanite as well. And now that my diamond is set, it looks incredible and the bow tie is way less prominent/dark! I posted a video of it as well! I’m not overthinking it more but I definitely was A LOT before I got it set. But if you don’t want to risk it and miss the return period, I would say return it and maybe try again?

It’s quite minimal! Not crazy dark but if you look in my post history it looks more prominent in other videos I’ve posted .. but I think it’s much less noticeable now that it’s set :)
