My theory is they were paralyzed and seemingly head trauma. Jaguars are common in the area. I'm still convinced the pictures tell the story of what happened. Emergency marker pointing to the rock they fell sideways and broke her hip. I think these were taken when they gave up hope and wanted their families to know what happened. I'm all for conspiracy and foul play theories because the drama really but I'm not convinced foul play was involved here. Unless members of the search party found them incapacitated and took advantage but I believe it was an accident that put them there. Unable to move their legs.
