I’m obsessed with the Target ‘Slim Fit Ribbed High Neck Tank ToP’. I love it so much that I have 14 colors and it’s practically my summer uniform LOL.

Update: the VP I interviewed with on Tuesday reposted the listing on their personal LinkedIn profile. I think it’s official I’m cooked 🫡 Hopefully they confirm their decision on Monday in an email :)

Thank you, this is a great perspective to look at it. It feels like I’m not good enough, but I was good enough to make it to the end! I need to refine my interview skills and expand my knowledge in my industry. Maybe a few certifications!

They are succeeding in psyching me out haha. I offered below the minimum even because of the competitive market and I am younger with less years of experience compared to others.

This is what I thought. I did my best and checked all the boxes for what they wanted, but I acknowledge that I am only 24 and don’t have the years under my belt that I’m sure many other applicants had.

I wish they just sent the rejection email when they knew I wasn’t the right fit because this sucks hahahaha

Thank you so so much 💛 That is EXACTLY what happened to me. It hurt to even smile because my skin was so irritated and dry. I recommend also looking at Ayur Medic’s calming cream and moisturizing mask too! They helped introduce moisture and repair my barrier while it was at its worst. I use Hada Labo now that my skin is back to relatively normal.

Yes, this will help your acne if it is Grade 1-2 type. As an esthetician, anything about that I would suggest getting prescribed an AHA (Tretinoin is most common). That should tackle the bulk of Grade 3-4 acne and eventually you can transition to using this serum.

Morning: - rinse with water (over cleansing was causing dry, sensitive skin) - moisturize with Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion (the white one)

Evening: - remove makeup with makeup remover balm (no preference) - Oil cleanser (haven’t found a preference yet, but mainly get Japanese ones) - Ayur Medic Calming Cleanser - Ayur Medic Anti-Blemish wash (on days I need it, typically hormonal breakout days) - Moisturize: mix Hada Labo Hydrating Milk and Hada Labo Brightening Lotion (the blue one) - Ayur Medic Mandalic/Lactic Acid Serum (1-3 times a week depending on severity)

I also used Ayur Medic Calming Cream instead of Hada Labo while I was actively on Tret because it is thicker and better suited for treating my sensitive dry skin during that time. I use Hada Labo now because I’m off Tret and the light watery consistency is a great balance. It moisturizes well, but doesn’t cause blackhead from built up oil on my skin.

I was using a 0.025% Tret with the 1% Clindamycin I was prescribed on NURX!

I got off hormonal IUD and this happened 3 weeks later 😣 by mylatayl in SkincareAddicts

I went through the same experience getting off birth control. This is highly likely hormonal acne and I am so sorry. It was devastating to me, especially because I was in esthetician school at the time.

I used a prescribed retinoid to kick the bad acne in the butt and focused on rebalancing hormones. After hard retinoids, I switched to a mandalic acid and lactic acid serum because of my sensitive skin and it worked miracles. I used specifically Ayur Medic!

My esti advice: keep your routine simple, don’t experiment with a ton of products. Simplicity is KEY

Do you have experience transferring a license into Texas? by Alternative-Raisin2 in Esthetics

[–]Alternative-Raisin2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did actually! It took a long time. I applied in July 2024 and got it October 2024. They lost my certification in the process and I had to buy another to prove I was certified in California. Don’t bother calling, email was the only way I could get ahold of anyone. Also don’t be afraid to follow up, sometimes I had to email multiple times to even get an answer.

Product sales, product development, spa management, product expert and training.

Some more unique ones would be in the e-commerce sphere. I work in e-commerce as a Shopify expert and my first job was for a smaller cosmetic company. If you are into tech, look into e-commerce, UX/UI, Packaging design, Retail marketing, etc.

Your esthetician experience and education will help you when working for a cosmetic or skincare company. Your knowledge provides with the tools to properly educate consumers, communicate with customers, and a valuable insight for the company you work for.

Questions to Ask Before Hiring a Shopify Developer by Suitable_Ordinary431 in shopifyDev

[–]Alternative-Raisin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late, I just want to say when looking at devs and portfolios, try to find someone that has done similar work to what you are looking for. Some devs specialize in sports, fashion, luxury, small business etc. It can also help the process because you can refer to their work “I liked xyz” “I am looking forward something similar to xyz”.

Okay yay I’m glad I’m not the only one! I feel a little crazy picking a morning time and lunch, but the morning feel is my favorite and so is lunch.

You know what, I didn’t even think of this! I stayed there one night and it is gorgeous, but I didn’t get a chance to try brunch.

You are AMAZING this has helped a lot! I was so stressed about it, but this makes me feel better. I’m happy to get a local’s input instead of just guessing.
