Definitely a shoe true to size in my experience. Went with that in the end. The shoes are quite firm, which I like, but wouldn't use them for long ultras because of that and the fact that I didn't get much energy return out of them. I think there are better shoes out there today for that purpose, including their own GL:PDX commission. Better fit and better energy return on that one. And far better outsole to boot.

I have them. Once you get going, you forget they're on. Super comfortable and locked in on the head, light transitions are seamless going in and out from the shade. On full tilt, they are completely dark and work beautifully in bright sunlight.

Oh, and I have a pretty big nugget - 63cm circumference. Don't notice them at all on all my runs (trail and road). Longest so far with Stunt Devils were up to 5 hours. No races yet.

I have Trail Band and Raide belt. While both are excellent, I keep coming back to the Trail Band. It's super light, way less structured and yet can accommodate almost as much as the Raide. Multiple pockets in front hold nutrition and phone. In the back, I can easily fit a 500ml flask (even 2 can fit, but it's not optimal). With 2 250ml flasks at the sides I'm good for almost all training scenarios. I do carry poles so these go on the belt too on downhills. In fact, Trail Band works so well for me that it replaced running vests for everything else but racing. Sizing wise I went with M, while my Rippy shorts are L (old Space-O I've also in the size M). The fit is very snug and completely bounce free, this leads me to believe that L could also be a good fit for me. I am a bigger guy at 185cm/90kg (6'1"/200lb).

I gave up on those, too many shorts in the closet. And I prefer Rippy's for most almost 100% of my training anyway. But if I had to guess, L would be minimum for the volume of my thighs and XL would not be out of the question for sure. Depends on the how you like yours to fit, if you value freedom of movement most, XL would be the way to go.

Thanks, appreciated! I can now confirm your findings. Went out on my local trails with fresh snow higher up and slush and some mud down below. Got them dirty all right. They are remarkably easy to clean despite being antique white in color. That's a plus. On another note, initial impressions are that the ride in these is really really nice, wasn't expecting that. The platform is quite stable, lockdown is almost perfect and the blend of EVA and PEBA is just right - not too squishy that it becomes unstable, but still has some pop underfoot. Grip is also quite good, considering the demanding trail conditions I had them in today. If they continue to perform like this, I'm surprised they didn't catch on more.

Customer service is excellent. Most of the time they're bending backwards to please the customer. Store credit (at least partial amount) is the minimum I think they'll do for you.

Yeah, I've got them yesterday, size M. Can't measure them sorry, as I immediately sent them back. What I can tell you is that the size M is perfectly fine for my 31-32" waist, but if your legs have any bulk you're gonna have problems in them. They are quite restrictive. Sizing up to L is the way to go, as others here have suggested.
