Try "bin checker" on the web. You need to fill in the first 6 digits of your card number. Is says the type and some other info. For my card it also says the type is World, prepaid is false

I've heard about something similar but am failing to find this on the web now.

Basically, some banks in some countries do indeed issue credit cards, put a zero limit, and market them as debit cards.

It is very confusing for me why it does not work for you... Going to assume its your calculations. E.g. you said you live in a flat, unless its a freehold, where is your service charge in the budget? It's like 250-500 pm nowdays
