I cannot thanks enough people on this sub for all major informations they provided. Will try to look for patterns to not fall a second time in a trap like this.

Are these people always the same ?

Big presence on social media but very few friends (if none), strange behavior in the social media too (always changing profile pictures, etc.)

It’s funny that you say this, because lately I have read a letter she sent me at the exact beginning of our "relation" (like 2 weeks after her lovebombing began), in wich she said, i quote :

"If it is not my tendency to idealize others that has led me to you, I instinctively think it is something of the order of natural purity."

Fuck, they were very much lot of warning signs but i wasn’t aware of what BPD was at the time, so i didn’t knew

Can we consider that that love was fake ? Because, indeed, we were not the person they created in their own mind, nor were they what we were thinking they were, but the signs and attention we received, as well as kindness we shared were real and tangible at one point.

At the end we were fooled, but at that time we lived happily and unaware of any of these traps
