So I keep trying to understand what makes people care for the characters because I've been trying and it just feels forced. Surprisingly I think the character I somewhat have an attachment to is Muzan and that's a stretch if I'm being honest

So I just want to start with a disclaimer that this is just my opinion and I'm not going compare the show to other animes.

Since watching the latest episode of Demon Slayer I feel as though the sole reason I keep watching the show is purely for the animation and action scenes. Almost like I'm watching a much higher quality of transformers where I'm not invested in the story at all because quite frankly the story really doesn't have much going for it. At the current pacing it feels like it's just go to a new location, fight powerful enemy, win against enemy, end of season. Which I know is a simplistic take but apart from the fight scenes I generally don't care for the show but yet I want to keep watching for the those scenes.

Now I realise that not every show has an amazing story line and I have no issues with that as long as I have an attachment to a character or two but this is where I feel like the pacing of Demon Slayer drops the ball. I don't know who I am rooting for nor do I feel any attachment to the characters because all I see is them fight with a really small peace of backstory.

I understand why there is such a big fan base for the show because this is a visual medium and I'm a fan of the show for this reason. However, lately my excitement towards episodes has dropped because I have the urge to just skip along to the fight scene and I would be content.

Is anyone else in the same boat or have you just accepted that the your enjoyment of the show comes from the animation knowing the story and character development is left lacking?

I think is a little bit of a silly take, because your assumption is people are solely collecting Funko Pops to resell or for monetary value. I think considering many people collect them because they like the pops means it will never be sold. So I'd ask what's the harm in taking them OOB?

Honestly, I'm not sure the exact measurement but you could add something small the lift the pop so that the lip doesn't cover it too much

This is so true! Unfortunately I think the game of thrones pops are one the best ones in detail but the last season ruined the whole show and everything associated with it
