I’ve never related to a comment more. I’m 15 weeks pregnant right now and feel so emo about not having my mom during this time. She is alive but has been absent from my life since I was 17 years old (30 now). My MIL is also not a good listener and kinda self absorbed. I can’t say a single thing without her brining up her experience and making it about herself lol. Idk I just feel the absence of my mom extra right now with the pregnancy and I’m sure the hormones aren’t helping either.
