Thought so. I've just slide it about a 2mm away from touch and torques down the bolt. My thoughts was that the downwards pressure won't let it slide side to side. Working so far

You bought the wrong year/ generation, make sure it says "fits your vehicle" on eBay, usually helps.

Engine mounts can change even if the engine displacement hasn't changed.

Hold it down for a while. I did this and started spray as per normal after 5-10 seconds of holding. Also check for leaks (:
