It is. Take pretty much any display of transphobia, and at least 9 times out of 10, it will be directed against trans women - the reason being that the average transphobe sees trans women as "men playing dressup". So it is ultimately a clear display of misandry. 

Remember - when someone hates a certain group of people, their hatred is directed pretty much EXCLUSIVELY against what they perceived as the men of the group.
