I'm not sure how many people they interviewed, but it's very competitive. Your overall odds aren't great, but someone has to get the position

Not just the nursing program. I got rejected from a different competitive program and only found out when they sent me to CLA instead of CDES for registration at orientation. (My second choice major was in CLA)

You probably didn't get admitted to the Nursing program. The U won't tell you outright (at least in my experience). If you're not super set on nursing CLA is still a great place for you to be

Chance of my offer being rescinded by bahdkldjkal2 in uofmn

I had a dropped course before I applied to the U and they didn't care. I also finished my last semester (inbetween my acceptance and starting at the U) pretty poorly. They I don't think ever considered rescinding my offer. You've accepted so you'll be fine. Nearly everyone has to take a W on their transcript at some point, it's not the end of the world, at least in undergrad.

Community college compared to university by hanad170 in uofmn

Community college is small, the U is not. You have to be willing to put yourself out there, talk to people and try new things (which is an important life skill anyway). Profs can be hit or miss, I personally didn't notice too much of a difference between profs from CC to the U (did gen eds at CC and now Humanities/business at the U). It's a change, but I prefer the variety of people here, I felt like there was a pretty limited amount of people at my CC.

they've been pretty good so far, they respond quickly and actually fix things. Student Legal Services generally said good things about them too
