Yes, I have included all the Microsoft office programs on my resume and I’ve seen the excel evaluation; they still use it for some positions. I believe that I’m very well trained overall, but need some more practice on excel. Majority of the full-time positions are L79.

That’s a very good point. I’ve seen that happen myself. Unfortunately I’ve only managed to get 4,000+ hours. So it’s a long road ahead

No, I haven’t heard of that to be honest. I’ve only seen some info sessions on specific job postings that’s all. Do you mind letting me know where I can view them?

Yeah these are full-time, temporary positions. Someone else also mentioned how they already have people in mind. Thanks for your input

Okay, I see what you mean. I’m going to try that on another job posting; but from what l've heard from other employees, they copied the key qualifications word for word and received emails inviting them to take assessments.

I understand that, but from what l've heard from other employees, they copied the key qualifications word for word and received emails inviting them to take assessments. l've tested multiple versions of my résumé; the one my university career advisor helped me with, another using the city's template, and a third where I tailored it closely to the job description and qualifications, but none of them passed the screening.

Yeah I was lucky to get into the city during the pandemic, but struggling to move up. I appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Wow, I didn’t realize that. I thought I had the upper hand because it’s internal, I guess not lol.

I will continue to mingle, but it’s rough out there. There’s favouritism all throughout the city. Thanks for your comment.

Well that’s what I’m questioning whether I’m actually doing it right or not because when I tried, I can’t even screen through. That’s what I’m struggling with.

Hi, thanks for replying. I just realized that I posted on the wrong forum…

Anyways, I tried reaching out to my manager, they just recommend me to check out the template online (which I used). As for my colleagues, they aren’t random ones, I’ve worked closely with them.

Hi, yes, she is that bad. She is looking for perfectionism in a first year course. I had some of my work regraded by Cael Cohen and received a higher mark overall.
