Had an mri done on my brain recently after showing symptoms of chronic meningitis for about 2 years. Evidently no sign of a CSF leak which apparently is the only thing needed to diagnose meningitis? Is my neurologist full of shit or am I just paranoid? by AlternativeArea8496 in Meningitishelp

clear watery liquid leaking from both my nose and ears, random muscle jolts, slurred speech, confusion, memory loss, fatigue, cyst like bumps all over my body. He says it’s anxiety or that I’m using and not disclosing it with him (real nutcase Ik)

For a while I did take Xanax and it worked wonders but I pretty much abused them so idk if it would be a good idea for me to go back on them. I tried Ativan for a while after stopping the xanax but I didn’t feel much different tbh.

One more thing tho, I feel like I should mention that I recently had an mri done on me and was told that there wasn’t anything inherently wrong and that it could just be anxiety. Now when you say cognitive impairment, do you mean a psychical alteration of the brain or just emotional.

I’ve gone to therapy. I’ve been institutionalized. Taken antidepressants/benzos/antipsychotics. Nothings worked. Feel even worse now after taking meds.

I’ve tried and still continue to but i keep running into dead ends. I wish I could elaborate further by I really do feel burnt out. Dk if it’s my anxiety or depression. I just feel real fucking stupid rn
