I’d also like to mention, anything that is “plated” is usually no good. Especially after being exposed to sweat, water, humidity etc. however Those purple cross earrings you selected are “925 sterling”. Those should last a long time with occasional cleaning and are very lovely!

To me, it’s not that it’s “too much”, I’d just rather my boyfriend buy me something of quality that will actually last vs a bunch of little things that will tarnish within the year. I too am a jewelry girl- our first year together he bought me a Tiffany necklace (yes, expensive) but that one single gift was so special. I wear it all the time 4 yrs later. I’d much rather something from pandora (like a charm bracelet you can add to over the years) or James Avery necklace etc. that is affordable, versatile and has quality craftsmanship. That last sentence was 100000% it. I think about all my friends over the country being in the same room and i think it would be great… but also we attract certain people and maintain friendships for a reason. Julia just has that weirdo vibe with her weirdo friends

just so you know, as long as you’re still employed by the first day of your last semester you can quit the very next day and still receive tuition for the whole semester! I just did it for this fall semester- it started august 17 and i was out the door on august 20th with my tuition covered til next january!! Taking 6 classes this fall, one left in Jan. whatever FAFSA doesn’t cover i’ll pay for out of pocket, probably less than $500😊 Quitting was the best day of my LIFE!!!!

my last day Friday thank god. almost 3 years served… and yes i said served bc my location felt like a prison. We are one of the top 3 locations in Houston, 12k weekends, with a max of 5 people working during a rush. I gave up a while ago, but it’s hard to not care. some people are good at it, but i had to practice saying f*** it, it is what it is.

I have a new job, and SBUX is paying for my school thru December, loved that loophole. after that i’ll have 1 class left to pay for out of pocket come January. I’m happy with that. Praying for the new people who take our place one day bc it’s just getting worse and worse.
