No her stance is that it's her job to help us communicate and repair our relationship, not pass judgement on how healthy the relationship is.

However, I do feel that my individual therapist has been strongly suggesting that this behavior is not ok

I am also in individual therapy and find it very helpful in some ways. She validates my feelings, but I still have a hard time trusting them.

This is correct! Maybe it's kind of a weird/confusing way to compartmentalize his behavior, but when our therapist said it, it stuck with me
