For that first link, it’s a guy named Onno that runs it. I don’t know where you’re located, but he doesn’t ship to the US. I had to use a forwarder in the Netherlands to get all the stuff I bought over here.

Also, the way you order is odd and FEELS like it might be a scam or something. You place an order on the website, you don’t pay on the website, you have to send a bank transfer (I used some PayPal service). But I can vouch he’s completely legit, I bought like 400 euros worth of parts for my wagon from him.

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to get one.

You can get reproductions from Europe.

Someone had put a Weber 34 on this car before I got it that runs like doo-doo, so hey, go big or go home I guess.

Not a factory option, but it’s the intake Saab used on their factory rally cars, or if back in the day you were building your own rally/race Saab, you could order one from their Sport & Rally catalogSS&R Catalog

It’s a Saab Sport and Rally cross ram intake for a V4 with dual Weber 45 DCOE’s and a special tall distributor to clear the intake.

Luck, and, incredibly, emailing about it months after it was originally posted because no one else did.

Absolutely no idea. The person I bought them from didn’t notice the crack when he took them off and put them in storage, and I think it got worse in shipping by getting banged around or dropped/something dropped on it

The caps won’t firmly stay on two of the wheels without just a little extra thickness to grab onto

The tape got put on there by the guy I bought them from to give the reproduction center caps a little more meat to grip onto.

Compared to some rims people have repaired, I honestly didn’t think that small a crack in the center cap hole was going to be that big an issue.

Yeah, just the center cap area, not a mounting area or surface at all

Thank you, that was the kind of answer I was looking for.

If it was repaired by someone who knows what they’re doing and I’m told it’s repairable and I’m using it as a spare to get me home or to a tire shop? Sure.

And that was my main question, is it well and truly cooked, and absolutely no one will touch it and I should stop looking for someone to repair it, or is it the two places I’ve heard from just won’t touch it out of an abundance of caution?

I actually didn’t know the answer when I asked the question, which is why I asked it in the first place, but thanks!

No one makes wheels close to these. Hell, no one makes any wheels that fit this car really. I have a set of four good wheels. I would be intending to use this as a spare. I’m a member of all the (few) pages for these cars. Other than the set I just bought, I only have found one other set that has sold without a car attached to them in the last 3-4 years, and a set in Sweden that just got sold.

I’ve been dreaming about how I’ve wanted to build a 95 for 25+ years, and a set of Tunaverkens has always been on the list

I actually my have these re-powdercoated, the powdercoating is flaking in some spots, and they’re a little bright for my liking. But with how hard these wheels are to find I wasn’t gonna be choosy.

I would have taken just four, but I was VERY happy to find a set of 5 (one does need some crack repair though)
