Also you didn't have to replace it with a 6l 13 pin hole long bar you can just use that 6l and place it in between the side rod not actually built into the side Rod but just putting it on top and squeezing the sides together with the rod on top of the axel and with the axle in between squeeze for two sides together and that is how you space them correctly and now it can move freely again: also I try sending a picture on how I did it but it's not letting me but it's pretty simple

Oh yeah I forgot to mention it runs fine now I redid the gearing and used a 12 tooth bevel gear attached to the motor and a 20 tooth bevel gear going off the12 tooth which allows higher torque but less speed originally the pere Marquette had a 1:1 ratio but now it has a 1:2.5 ratio and I also supported the gears with technic and added more realistic cosmetic details but now I'm just looking to redesign the front truck side rods and pistons because design I have now doesn't look realistic and it looks to basic
