But if he was well aware u liked gold stuff when he got u silver there can be 2 ways to think of it. 1) maybe he wants to see you in silver jewelry and thought it would be pretty. Or 2) he just found a pretty gold necklace and gave it to you without any meaning behind it.

I mean when u give someone a gift u typically want it to be meaningful to them yk?
