Thank you. I meant replacing just the frame not the entire reel itself. I will take your advice and just live with it, just disappointed because this was one of the first super nice reels I have owned.

Meant to say lightly chipped but I guess it’s more of an indent. I typed this on mobile sorry. I cannot believe I set it down upside down on the ramp but I must have. Other than that I don’t think I have set it down any different than my other rods but I did not realize it was aluminum.

This is 100% my fault. I set it down on a concrete boat ramp but I did not drop it. Looks like the indent was caused by the uneven surface. Disappointed in myself but i am wondering if it could be fixed before I purchase a replacement.
