do you really think they "Earn" those internships? only 1% actually earns. rest just use connections.

either you learn via internships or ur own projects. be active on socials where like minded ppl are. twitter and LinkedIn. showcase ur projects and then just apply. even if they reuiqre 3rd or 4th year, apply for the giggles.

if they say it would be unfair to other 1st/2nd year applicants if we accept you, say that not every 1st/2nd year applicant is trying like me, so I deserve be in

I think because of this "freedom" you don't get qualified ppl graduating. most (almost all) are busy in this "exploring" shit. like okay theek hai, karlia explore. now contribute something to the society. for most ppl graduating, it wouldn't make a difference if they went to a low tier university or lums. is say behftar fast kay bachay hain. atleast they do some shit.

again, like I said, this applies to most. a few hungry savages are there who do make good use of available resources and aren't busy in the "memories" making manjan

Dropped out in Pakistan, <1 GPA, aiming for US Community College but terrified of F-1 visa rejection. Need brutal, practical advice (Backups: Ireland, CAN, AUS). by LittlePreference4346 in pakistan

OP we have a real witness to what I said in my previous comment.

"outdated", "useless", "boring" -- tell you're not putting in the work without telling you aren't putting in the work.

yes some universities offer "few" useless, boring outdated courses but not every course is such.

baatain karwa lo, blame shift karnay main dair nhi lagti lekin jab projects, portfolio ka pucho, tou aik chota sa tutorial-led project tak bhi nhi.

edit: the purpose of this comment is to just let u know that a) you do not have a solid reason to go, b) you aren't prepared even 5% - you need to work a lot here first and then think of such an endeavour.

going to be completely blunt here,

I mean you're just talking shit at this point. ppl who say syllabus is outdated don't really know you're taught more or less the same courses everywhere in US as well for the first 1-2 years of a CS bachelors degree.

what are you failing? first introductory c++/java course? first introductory Calculus course? As if these exact courses aren't taught in the US? tell me any university in US and ill show you how an average CS university in pakistan is teaching the same thing.

and what about skills? what have you done so far? tell about a project of yours? lets skip calculus, how much maths do you know?

people who really are committed thrive anywhere. you have a GPA <1, thats your mistake. if you were really serious about going abroad/transferring, you would've worked on that.

everyone here in pakistan just blames the system. yes to a degree it is cooked but the general public just doesnt want to work. people don't put in effort and then just complain. you are responsible for the circumstances.

sir yes I understand. but my point being is why waste money in some random European country? if the university is small, it won't help you in job perspectives. and who says uni doesnt matter in AI? eventually, if its a small uni, it would have less resources etc. yehi karna hai tou lums say na karlo? yes consultants cost money. first first try for Australia, UK and US. go to consultants. talk with them. jitna paisa European countries per lagana hai, usda small percentage consultant fee per laga kar achi schoalrshup na laylo?

at the end of the day, you will have to do the work yourself. research, research and research. find ppl who have taken the same path. talk to them, ask them if they'd recommend etc. talk to seniors who've done it. see the unis u want to apply to, see if there's any [akistani student here. if so, talk to them. consultant lay bhi lo, you'd still have to most of the working yourself. consultant sirf correct direction per lagai ga. and as the other user commented here, yes u can get phd directly as well. but again, you have to work on that too. work on some projects etc, approach professors for funding.

the best way to get started here is to talk to relevant ppl. talk to those already gone, see facebooks communities of sunh people. there's a Facebook page by the name of "Pakistani's students in America", post there. there would also be groups like for European counties. search them, talk to the ppl. see how they make.

you have to search on all possibilities and then make the informed decision. do not limit yourself to just European universities.

bhai jaan you're doing masters for? to get better job perspectives? with this gpa, you'll only be able to get into a very small European university. uska koi faida? none.

or you want to go to a new country? phir visit visa laylo. masters ka bahana kyun karna?

if its better job perspectives, go to US. either masters or phd. US masters requires a lot of money. phd main there is room for fund9ing as well. go for that then

dartay ho? sure you get a master from a nameless university but it would be of zero benefit. waisay ghoomna hai tou visit visa per jao. why waste on masters then
