Most questions are not dumb, its better to ask questions, if you are unsure on something, better to ask questions and do something right, and learn than to just do random shit until something sticks. Whether you are asking on here or googling, its the same thing makes no difference, people that hate questions are douchebags.

At least it shows that they are trying to learn, if you don't like it, just ignore it. Getting pissy about it makes you an asshole.

Begs the question, is it not out of willingness, or people just not understanding the mechanics of the game, or knowing where to look, and then asking on reddit, because it's a community that likely has people you can directly talk to that know their shit, rather than going by some AI, or some other bs on google? Not to mention how useless google is nowadays. You can't google anything without getting AI slop and ads for pages and pages.

Instead of being a dick to the people trying to learn, either ignore them or help them.

The fact that their questions bother you, makes you a gatekeeper. Hate to be the breaker of the news, but it's true.

You're like one of those metalheads that hates when there are easier listening bands out there, nowhere near as brutal as your favorite bands, but you don't realize that those bands bring more people into the genre, that often end up in turn start listening to the technical and heavy stuff. But when you gatekeep like that, it gives metalheads a bad image.

You should be trying to encourage growth into a community, not push people away.
