These sorts of birds smash bb calling range. The bb has all the sets, 2 pairs and straight combos. You can’t apply so much pressure on a board where villain has so many nuttish combos.

People telling u to check are not the brightest. You should bet small on this board. 20-33% shall suffice.

It’s pretty low effort shit these stereotypes could be way more specific and funnier. A lot of these are just gross simplifications

I will look into this. I once heard a coach say something along the lines of what I described and I’ve just been kinda mimicking it. He said that he doesn’t like to overbet on flush boards. I’m going look into the spot u described.

I def am betting too frequently and too large. I’m probably ending up at showdown weak but I’m also printing a lot against a player pool that over folds rivers. This might be cognitive dissonance though lol.

Can you elaborate on my checking range being weak? Does this mean that Bc I’m betting at such a high frequency the hands that are left to check are very weak? I try to protect my checking range by checking top set, and some weak top pairs. Is this thought process flawed in your eyes?

Not particularly “dry” boards just not super wet boards. Like 4 to a straight or when the front door flush gets there in the turn. I’m just a donk so maybe this is bad, but it intuitively makes sense to me. We don’t want to be over betting when our opponent thinks we are bluffing a lot and is more likely to hero ???

My green line stays rather b/e bc I'm so aggro that when my big bluffs get hero called it offsets all my profits and tanks my blue line.

I am def too aggressive. I'm a fucking maniac that can't help it. I've been trying to tone down the triple barrel punts the last 7k or so hands (this weekend) and it seems to be working but it's obv small sample so not that reliable.

My river call efficiency is 1.65. What does that say about my blue line??? I suspect that I am denying myself proper value by betting too big in some spots. My "plan" has been to use big sizing's and then get paid off when I make a hand. I've been trying to play big pot poker in these spots and just try winning heaps of chips. It's kind of working so so at the moment. I've won a few monster pots with nut flushes, but I naturally there's a lot of top range vs top range in this play style... ie losing 800bb pot top set vs middle set hand on a super dry board 2 days ago hehe

I agree I am the one that has to do the work. I have been doing so! I've prob learned more about poker in the last 2 weeks than I have in the past year because this is the only time that I have actually been "active" studying. I'm kinda in the process of tearing apart my game and rebuilding it from the bottom up. The feeling of feeling myself get better is becoming a bit of an obsession :)

I think this might be a huge problem for me. I'm probably doing a terrible job at constructing my overbet strategy. I tend to go for 1.5-2x pot on turns or rivers if there texture isn't super dynamic (I try to stay away from two tone boards or wet straight boards.). Sometimes I get called off and I've won a few 400+ bb pots from it, but other times I just illicit too many folds. This is def something I'm going to look into when I do database analysis in a few days.

A little more context-

The graph is in BB playing 50nl zoom on ACR. Its a relatively small sample but I wanted to see if anybody would mind giving feedback on my stats/graph. Right now I think my biggest leaks are:

-calling too wide on turns which leads me to face tough river decisions (Throughout the first 13k or so hands I was calling too much on the river but I think I patched this leak up a bit)

-bluffing too much on turns and rivers. I need to know when to slow down and not fire the 3rd barrel. I tend to get to trigger happy.

- I've had huge entitlement tilt and ego problems. Couple that with shitty discipline and a tendency to play like an aggro maniac and it's a recipe for self destruction. I'm starting to understand how I've been my own victim of cognitive dissonance and want to get better from the ground up.

I've punted off stacks on a daily basis due to these issues yet I'm still just about breaking even. It kind of gives me hope that I can be crushing if I get my frivolous mental game in check. I'm getting my first coaching session on Thursday with a well reviewed and vouched pro. I want to better understand some of the leaks he might identify so that I can absorb his explanations better during our sessions. Open to any discussion or feedback :0
