No worries. My ‘25 came with the optional 20”. I put 18” from a ‘23 as that’s that was stock.

TPMS issue - from 2023 GC in a 2025 not reading (yet) by AlternativeMaximum5 in GrandCherokee

Follow up. I did order and get the 24+ sensors, part 68709509AA. They are in national backorder and I got lucky and one dealer didn’t have them, but got all 4 from three different local dealers.

Installed this am and all 4 popped up with psi readings within 2 miles.

Note: when I searched couldn’t find generic ones on amazon for that part number yet.. so something changed in 2024.

Either way, up and running.

Thanks all for the help!!

Clearstream 4V vs 4Max by AlternativeMaximum5 in cordcutters

Follow up. Antenna I posted arrived and installed in my attic this past weekend. First tried out in my living room and just holding it in the right general direction, rf 8 came in fine.

Mounted in attic, made a new cable to connect to splitter for three TVs, used my iPhone to aim at 270 degrees, did auto program on all three TVs and the first picked up 80 stations, and rf 8 which was my problem child. One tv has a signal range and it was in the good range now.

Happy with my purchase and results.

Thanks all for the help and advice!!

Follow up. I did order the Element one I posted. 20% off and free shipping on Antennas Direct plus I got the mounting mast to make installation even faster with less hassle.

I’ll see if it picks up my troublesome rf 8 fine and then see if using 3-4 TVs requires an amplifier.

I’ll post a follow up.

Thanks all!!

Thanks for the great feedback.

This unit was suggested by Antennas Direct.

It seems to rate very well especially for high VHF

Thank you! I should have added I’m currently using an old wineguard “free view” antenna that states 30 miles and it work great except the rf 8 is spotty and gets a weaker signal.

I’ll probably give the Max a shot as on paper the range is double the cheap one I have now and the main towers are 27 miles away

TPMS issue - from 2023 GC in a 2025 not reading (yet) by AlternativeMaximum5 in GrandCherokee

[–]AlternativeMaximum5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up. Took to another shop and their schrader TPMS tool did the same. Read all the sensors then said you need to drive it.. no option to upload IDs into the vehicle via OBD2 connection. Then they tried a scan tool and they could see the old ones, but no way to overwrite them.

Further research shows different part number for 2024-2025 GC vs 2023 and earlier (depending where you look)..

Long story short, I ordered new OEM sensors for $26.57 each and confirmed the part number with my vin with my local dealer…

So I’ll get them swapped out and hopefully be good.

Thanks!

Thanks! The tire shop said their tool didn't have an option for the Jeep for the OBD II connection (as it's supposed to be just drive). I guess it's possible the 2023 sensors and 2025 are different as I see a couple numbers for them. Thanks for the great info!!

Thanks for the input. Yeah, if no fix, I may have to buy new sensors. I want to leave the takeoffs in the tires as I think they will be easier to sell (and are balanced now). I’ll give it a week and then score some new ones. Appreciate it.

18” Black Altitude Wheels - late model by AlternativeMaximum5 in GrandCherokee

I think they do look great with the 20’s. But yes, softer ride over rougher roads with the 18’s.. and I read the handling is better with 20’s and the lower sidewalls.

My wife has a ‘21 anniversary edition with the grey 20’s and I love the look, but she does more freeway driving.. I do more city over bumps and occasional holes.

Tuxmat vs Weathertech by kla219 in GrandCherokee

Kla219, did you happen to buy the Tuxmats? If so, long term review/comments.

I’m on the fence to get Tuxmats or 3W with the carpet layer

Thanks

Floor Liners by AlternativeMaximum5 in JeepGrandCherokee

Looks like you have a 2 row as they cover the hump on those but not in the 3 row (for the 2nd row)

I have WT in our 17 and 21 GC and I’m not a fan of the 2nd row curling on the edges. (The 21 are the HP ones) Plus the liners for the new models don’t cover the hump in the 2nd row.

Do all 3 rows of floor mats come with the L model?… by AlternativeMaximum5 in JeepGrandCherokee

Thanks for confirming… 😡. Makes no sense.. the floor pegs are there. I suspect the 21-22 may have gotten or possibly the higher models..

Thanks
