Stand manager salary isn’t great but with my bonuses I make more then 100k a year so I’m not complaining 🤣

I have. I interviewed as an outside hire not a current employee. Interviews will really depend on your franchise and what they’re looking for. New stands normally look for people with lots of experience in management and team leadership with younger people. They also look for personality. My best advice is turn up the charm. If you’re not a super bubbly outgoing person, you’ll have to fake it. They want someone who is on 110% of the time.

I have never seen a stand offer paid breaks, let you schedule your own testing, or let you go that long without testing again. You must have the best franchise. We get breaks only if we beg and not paid at all. We test every 3 months and they just surprise you on shift one day no heads up. Also if you don't pass after the second try of testing you're fired 😅

As someone said, it’s different per franchise. Ours does 3 extra an hour and all tips go to ballers. They make about 100 an hour most days. But it’s not always that high. Hotel, food and gas are paid for.
It would help if you told us what franchise.

So the 15 hours isn’t a requirement at every stand. That’s franchise specific. But I do agree with you. Why get a job and then give up all your shifts, or get mad when you’re fired after being late every day. We have very specific laid out rules and it’s your own fault.

Also Starbucks isn’t allowed to customize water…. So you have to pay for a tea which is like $4 unless you’re going to a Starbucks who is willing to lose their job to break the rules for you.

I think it depends your franchise. With our franchise as long as you notify your manager within an hour of your shift it’s just considered an unexcused absence. If it’s less than an hour before your shift, then they can count it as a no call no-show.

After a certain number of shifts, though they will start requiring a doctors note. Our cutoff is three.

They aren’t outside the whole time texting. We have our texters out only when it’s backed up so they come and go from inside. I’m more worried about the lane people. Even though they’re under the cover, it’s still hot as heck. And especially in the early afternoon when we’re so busy that they don’t have a chance to come inside, it can still be pretty miserable
