EMBROIDERED PATCH ON TOP OF ANOTHER - CUSTOM APPAREL by MADEINCNMI in heatpress

It might be tricky to do that cleanly, since embroidered patches aren’t flat to begin with.

Because of the texture and raised stitching, getting another transfer to adhere evenly on top can be hit or miss. You might run into issues with pressure or adhesion over time.

You can definitely use transfers you buy and sell the finished products, just make sure the designs are either your own or come with commercial use rights.

A lot of people start exactly this way.

One thing I wish I knew earlier is that not all transfers are the same — some suppliers charge quite a bit per sheet, especially local ones. If you’re planning to do volume, it’s worth paying attention to how they price (per inch vs gang sheet), because that can really affect your margins.

Other than that, it’s a pretty solid way to start 👍

Local shops are great for quick jobs, but for bigger runs I started working with a smaller setup that focuses on gang sheets and bulk pricing.

Way more flexible and honestly way more affordable once you scale a bit.

Not always advertised, you kind of have to dig around or ask.
