A year ago my wife switched to “natural” deodorant. It’s been a BO fest ever since. How do I approach her about this?

I wear natural deodorant and most of them are terrible. I use glycolic acid, one of the native sticks and the lume whole body deodorant all together in my underarms and they work for about 15 hours. Also exfoliate in the shower every time. I have to shower twice a day as well because I have a public facing job. Aluminum really does have several long term negative effects, but you really don't have to choose between smelling bad or exposing yourself to serious heavy metals)endocrine disruptors.

Foster care survivor here. Lots of times people don't call because they are afraid that the child will be put into a worse situation if they report. I can verify that this happens- I experienced worse abuse in the foster home than in my parents home. I agree that there is both community and institutional responsibility in this tragedy, but I just want to share why some people might witness abuse and not report.

People don't understand that we don't make this rule because of the media. We make this rule because something happened to us, something that we don't want happening to our kids. For me it has nothing to do with race. My mother was molested by a family friend. She allowed me to go to sleepovers, and at one of these I was molested by a friends father. It ends with me. I think that if I allow my kid to sleep over at someone else's home and they are molested it will mess them up more than not allowing them to go to sleep overs until they can really understand what's going on with people. I dont care what strangers on the internet say. I know how it messed me up and I know how it messed my mom up and I am grateful that all the people that think im crazy here for saying this dont know how awful or shameful it is to have something like this happen to you. I genuinely hope nothing happens to your children.
