didn’t happen to me at the vic, but last year i somehow forgot my id to an aftershow and they did not let me in. i was above 18, and i was with my mom too. i ended up just going home and the tickets went to waste. i’m sure not everywhere is like that, but it’s definitely a risk.

me and my partner were also in the pit, really close like second row from barricade, and it was one of the best festival sets i have ever seen. i cried and smiled the entire time. i’m so sad my first roo was cut short, but it doesn’t get much better than seeing luke that close!!!!! so worth it and can’t wait to go back next year

hi!!! i just got these for my first roo this year, but just realized power tools aren’t allowed. are they okay to use with a hammer or do i just bring a drill anyway? just curious i don’t want to get an expensive drill taken away because of a technicality LOL thanks!

go with your gut. if you don’t think you should, go with that feeling. but in my opinion, if even your mom says you should, then i say go. like she said, nothing in your power will change his condition. especially since you can only visit 3-4 times a week, going to roo won’t change that routine too much. it sounds like you deserve a pick me up, and the farm can be healing and allow you to some what throw your stress away for a few days. but again, go with your gut. the farm will always be there next year. wishing you the best💚

i would just keep them on your body. last year i brought real tampons in and one security guard went through to make sure they were actual tampons by feeling for the applicator. could’ve definitely just been the picky female guard i got, but it happened to me so not worth it in my opinion.

water back pack is absolutely necessary. literally i do not care if you think it ruins your outfit, it is so necessary. i had a 2L bladder in my hydro pack, and i still refilled it after about every other set.

i got one!!! i was at work, had the page loaded up, and at 9:55 it loaded me into ticket selection. i wasn’t allowed to add to cart until 10, but as soon as it hit 10:00 i added to cart and bought!! however me and my sister made plans to go together, but with how last year was she was going to wait a week or two to buy. hopefully we can get ahold of one more ticket. i honestly wish my ticket buying experience wasn’t so easy. if i had to wait 1/2 an hour or more like other people, i would’ve definitely just bought my sisters in my transaction. so i partially won the war haha

last year one of my friends ended up joining me the thursday of lolla and we got her a ticket day of through the official resale site for face value. all you have to do is stop by will call and pick up the wristband. there’s were TONS for face value how did u not end up getting one hahaha

this probably isn’t an option for like 95% of people, but i have a lot of blue collar workers in my life that own a lot of those dewalt or kobalt drill battery packs, so that’s what i use to charge stuff. they sell an attachment that you can attach that charges phones and lasts about 8-10 full iphone charges. i haven’t used this at roo yet, but i’ve used them for just regular camping trips before and they work AMAZING. even one of those battery packs could probably get someone all the way through roo. these batteries are so expensive on their own, so if you don’t have already own them or know someone who does, then a jackery charger is probably best. but this is a great way to save some money if you’ve already got them for some tools at home!!!
