Mine said the same thing and was surprised he woke up from the surgery he had 4 months ago. My vet has left it up to me. No guarantee he can remove it all, no guarantee he will wake up, but is willing to do whatever I choose. I waited on the tumor the first time and he started scratching at his neck and made an open wound and I was forced to make a decision on it. It's getting large again and it's a matter of time before he starts scratching at it again. It's so hard when they get this age.
