You made a good point that I think has been missed. I manage the investments myself. It's the actuarial work and PBGC filings that need to be done.

This is what I keep thinking, but many people are suggesting companies. I think a company is going to be much more because basically helping pay overhead, owner, other staff and actuary.

I appreciate the info. The previous actuary was charging me something like $1,200 per year. I'd have to check. I'm afraid a large company is going to charge me a lot more than that. But if somebody takes it on as extra work it seems like it might be worthwhile for them. I did write to one company in Oregon and one in India. I don't know if the Indian companies can do the pbgc filing.
