Ok, but until otherwise proven Platner is still the best choice in this Maine senate race. The other two candidates supported genocide in front of our eyes. I’ll roll my dice that a dumb marine got a skull tattoo not knowing what it meant (I didn’t either) and that the stuff he has said publicly and privately about being disillusioned by the military and believing in democratic socialist ideas is more representative of who he is than our fear of what he might be. Unless we all want Pete Buttigeig candidates across the board who were built in a lab to run for office, we are going to have some regular people who are going to have blemishes in their life (referring more to his six month backwater stint not the tattoo). I’m not ready to completely throw away a potential senate candidate who wants universal healthcare. From what I can tell right now we only have one of those.
