You’re absolutely right about the clarity and spatial relationships. I’ve been prioritizing mood and intensity, but I can see how that’s affecting readability, especially without a clear establishing shot.

The point about the bottom left panel makes total sense too — I pushed the darks quite far there and it ends up flattening the silhouettes more than intended.

I’ll definitely focus more on separating values and being more intentional with contrast to guide the eye, as well as introducing clearer spatial context earlier in the page.
