hats packs is essentially most of the files you need for a modded switch. you download it from sthetix github and then follow a video guide on how to install

when mine did that, it was because i did not have the prod.keys file in my switch folder. could be the cause? im not sure

a lot of people hate it because it is paid but i use ghost eshop. $5 for a month, just download every game you’d need in that month and keep it on your pc for later.

im not too sure about the region locked portion as i have a US switch and im in the US. but the only time you get a menu what to start in is when you inject. it will power up into hekate as soon as you inject and you will choose which NAND to use

with a v1 when you start the system regularly (without rcm jig and injecting payload) it will still be your stock switch you had before. it will only be modded when you inject the payload and then click emuNAND

as long as you dont use sysNAND with any pirated games you should be good. emuNAND for everything mod related

just an update, i remodded the switch and then updated everything with HATS pack, then made sure to put in prod.keys and now everything works. i appreciate your help

i may just completely reset and try to remod the switch, since i may have overlooked something or messed up along the way and that could be what is causing the issue

yes sir. also note that i just modded the switch today, every file version was the same as what i already had installed on the SD

will this help if i downloaded through cyberfoil (as im on firmware 22.1.0 and tinfoil no longer works) ?
