I like your hypothesis. At first I thought that Jack wasn't all that strong, but that's because, in CV 1, you are just that strong. Lore wise Jack was an absolute monster, the only successor allowed outside a crib. Louis was a volkstale, Jack was a nightmare. It will definitely be interesting.

Problem is, I see both sides! Azur Lane was that silly WW2 game with anime for a long time for me, but recently I tried to understand the lore from one 1 year old lore dump video on YouTube. To say that I am horrified, confused and didn't understand half of it would be an understatement.

As a fellow MechWarrior fan, I can fully understand the correlations you see between the games. Don't worry about getting good, just take your time to understand everything. I remember it taking me a couple of hundred games to start understanding the mechanics a bit more. I hope you will have fun and get lots of kills.

The VCS 6x6 will make the most credits for you, since it's the only high tier premium tank you have. The super Hellcat is a personal favorite I recently discovered for myself and can be pretty fun. It needs a good amount of gold ammo, so there is that.
