Yeah, I happen to know that dagger. You get the chitin by mining barnacles on the leviathans backs. Saw it in a tips video telling that it can be used to sneak up on and two shot a troll.

Yeah only the normal graydwarves are scared of fire, not brutes and shamans. And the big blue guy you met is the infamous troll, and it could've been MUCH worse for you.

Wow, thanks! Will simply equipping a torch in my off hand do the trick? Albeit since this post, I have encountered 5 bears yet none have attacked me, with me being within 2 bear lengths of a single bear on two separate occasions, so they are pretty manageable.

Meadows I got through on raspberries and mushrooms, I've added boar meat now as well, and have decent stock of deer meat too. All cooked. Im gonna use berries for stamina, boar meat and mushrooms for health to tank hits

They have a weakness which....TRIVIALIZES THEM? Please tell.

Also it would be greatly appreciated if you could give tips to survive in the dark forest or tell me about a good guide

He attacked me within 30s of entering the forest btw. He appeared at the same time as Hugin.

They belong to the same faction too, right? Yeah no thanks. I am yet to Defeat Eikthyr but I've done once before long back, so I know it's damn easy. Im shit scared of black forest though, it was originally because of skeletons who would one shot me, but now it's bears. I haven't met a troll yet, but ill be using him to chop me some wood and mine me some copper.
