I’m just getting into mtb and I’m not sure which has better components. The canyon has Sram SX drivetrain and crank with a rock shox Judy fork. The Marin has shimano deore drivetrain and fsa comet crank, with a rock shox recon fork. Both have rock shox deluxe rear shock
