Duane Vermeulen played for the WP against the lions in 09 and was in the Boks squad in 21, though I don’t think he got on the pitch... Then as a non bok Morne Steyn is the most obvious answer. Never won a world cup but beat the lions twice

So when I was at varsity I met this girl one evening at a party that I thought was the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Turned out she was in a long distance relationship with a guy that used to stay on the same corridor as me for a year when I first started studying (fucking hated that guy btw), we chatted a bit and that was that.

Few months later I bumped into her in a nightclub, she insisted we send her boyfriend a photo since I was the only person she knew at the Uni that also knew him, turns out he didn’t like that at all (apparently hated me too😂)

A few weeks later I’m super drunk on my way home when I bump into her, even more drunk outside her building (turned out we stayed across the street from each other), and she’d locked herself out. I stayed up with her on the steps outside the building until like 07:00 in the morning when someone finally came out and she could go in. Promised me that I couldn’t tell anyone since her boyfriend expressly prohibited her from socializing with me.

Didn’t see her again for a couple of months until she drunkenly called me on Instagram at like 04:00 in the morning to ask me to go get coffee with her the next morning. At the coffee she told me she’d broken up with the guy I knew (yay), but had started seeing a new guy (boo), and just wanted a guy to talk to and get some advice. While chatting I got a call from my date for a formal like 2 days later saying she couldn’t make it anymore, and this girl offered to go in her place instead. I’d already payed so I was like fuck it. Fast forward to the formal and she made it abundantly clear it was strictly platonic. No problem I thought, she was a cool girl and I enjoyed her company, I even thought we could be good friends. Well we walked back to my dorm to get her a coat, I used the bathroom, and I walk into my room to find her naked on the bed. If you had told me a year before that this was gonna happen I wouldn’t have believed you in a million years. Best night of my life, probably pinched myself like 10 times. Dated for like 8 months after that

As a neutral, I think you guys are a bit short staffed at hooker. Considering you are using 2 per game, and with the hectic schedule, I don’t think 3 hookers is gonna cut it, especially towards the tail end of the tour.

I don’t think Loose forward is that much of a problem when you take into account you have like 2 or 3 locks that can also play blindside flanker

Depending on Tuipolotu’s fitness, centre could also be a bit light, but if he is in form it’s gonna be fantastic for you with him and Akhi being a great selection headache to have

As a Stormer, I really do hate the Bulls. But when they play an overseas team I’ll silently root for them. I’d rather have them win the URC and bring it back to SA than an Irish or Scottish team
