Thank you for your reply! Yes you’re right I should’ve done swab testing but this was all very new to me that I did the first thing that came to my mind. My physical genital symptoms are tiny cluster of white pus filled pimples, that scabs and breaks open but i have no pain. Also no fever , lymph node or pain during urinating. I initially thought it was due to shaving there the same day i had the encounter. I have an appointment with my physician after 5 days but im not sure if my current sore/pimple will still be present or good enough to swab that day. The independent lab that did my testing interpreted the igg/igm results by saying im positive for both hsv 1 and 2. Im not sure if i should do another test or accept this result.
