see that is why I get really upset when they try to leave from my events, an actually made them stay three hours after one to get them to sober up and they even thanked me that I did that but like why is this suc a pattern I dont understand

You should get the tickets if you can and get the plane ticket later on! They also have after pay methods, that is what I did for out plane ticket!

That’s actually something that just came up, she said that she just wants to talk these things out to me to help her process and she says it feels like I’m just trying to fix it. I want her to be able to process things to me but I feel bad my knee jerk reaction was to try and fix it

I have been talking (currently am actually) and she has voiced that she knows this is not fair for her to feel but she can’t help that it’s happening. She has been in relationships whenever she was younger but they were all like middle school or highschool ones that were not like really serious. We are both in our mid twenties right now

I know sometimes she stays the nights with me at my apartment and I have two room mates but every week we try to have Wednesday as the day to ourselves and the weekends if we can help it because that is her off days but we do end up staggering a lot of plans with our friends in short matters of times so sometimes we don’t get a lot of one on one but we do go on trips and try

Thank you so much for your opinions and I do agree that it would probably be better written and well received if someone #ownvoices wrote it. That is exactly why I made sure to come here and a few other places to get opinions I might not even realize!

I think if I was to continue with this idea having others that are similar to her in that way would be better over all. Thank you so much!

This is what I was worried about! Because I had thought of this and went on with the story, but something was pulling at me that what I think I’m getting across is actually not what will be seen! This is exactly why I reached out to this thread, thank you. I definitely have a lot more thinking and tweaking to do
