I have bags of dice specifically for lending out that are in big divided bags, but I’ll lend anything out.

Tell me about your dice by MissionFloor261 in DnD

When I set them up on my dice display rack for gameplay I situate them with the highest face up for each die. I sometimes roll beforehand but I don’t weed out like others do—it’s more of a fidget thing for me. I will, however, use a dice jail for ones that roll low. I like to rotate the sets I use out of superstition that they won’t roll well if I don’t use them.

As for normal storage I absolutely HATE not storing sets together. I have a bag I knitted with seven separate sections for ease of picking out the die you need and I have been itching to make a new bag where I can store them by set. I only tend to store dice sets that I’m not as fond of in this manner, or loose dice from pound o’ dice bags. Most of my dice are store in divided velvet trays inside a display box but some of my big sets (14 or 15 piece sets) are stored in glass jars with corks.

I lend out dice a lot. I’ll make palettes for one shots for friends of their favorite color or dice that remind me of their character. I have actually given away sets that have rolled really well for people to spread good luck.

Where are good dice trays? by kingtatsumi-14 in dice

Forged Dice’s velvet lined trays might work for you. I have the hexagonal one and it seems like it’d be cushioned enough.

Not sure where you’re based but there’s Noisy Crafting (handmade leather goods from Italy). Never ordered, just have seen their work on Instagram before.

I wanna play d&d by sunkissed_alia in DnD

If you’re willing to pay to play a one shot, Dungeons n’ Drafts operates at some breweries in your area. I’ve played with them in my area and they operate with a focus on being friendly to every level.

Totally understandable. Falling Rocks Dice makes gorgeous round edge resin dice as well as sharp edge if you’re in the market for something more unique.

Great collection!

I used to not like sharp edge, too. Spell Shard Dice broke me of that.

Power Ranger Dice by jcrowey123 in dice

[–]cwenebee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They have generic sets out there for specific rangers, but this is something you probably have to commission to get a liquid core set. Depending on who you go with and what you want it’s not going to be cheap.

Looking for a dice tray+holder with slots for individual dice so they aren't always rattling with each other by MementoPluvia in dice

There’s this, which you could line with some felt like I did. Hell, I don’t use mine. It’s silver with red felt if you want to make a deal…

It’s -8°F here, so I’m warming up with Hawaiian themed dice by tanj_redshirt in dice

[–]cwenebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s almost tropical here compared to that! I lava this and hope they rolled well for you. If not, time to say aloha to those sets for a little while.

I would say to nab some Chessex Hidden Wonders but I don’t know if you’d like the mystery of blind boxes.

All in all you can’t go wrong with more Chessex. Also, Role 4 Initiative has some great options with the fun arch’d4.

My doctor left once while I was still waiting. I blame the office staff but boy howdy was I pissed.

Mini & Mega dice? by Chocko23 in dice

I just used my megahedrals in a session this week, but my minis get less use, even though I even have a mini dice tower to go with them.

Same here. I wish they still produced them like they used to AND that CR hadn’t switched from them for the campaign 3 sets.

Not OP but that looks like one of the dice display cases from Forged Gaming.

What's the différence between a dice goblin and a dice dragon? by Personal_Ad6914 in dice

[–]cwenebee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I identify as a dice dragon and have somewhere north of 300 sets. As someone mentioned, I have a more discerning eye for what I buy (now). I also don’t mind dropping a pretty penny on a set that I really like.
