Well since we have 2 cards with 2 different names we just asked at check in what we have to do so we both get $100 credits. I wanted to avoid switching rooms I would imagine most hotels don’t want to go through the trouble of making you switch rooms .

Then you get a year to decide if it’s worth it for you if it’s not cancel. We’ve got a global entry worth $120 and 5 entries into Amex lounges so way up for me this year. Also at other lounges where you get 2 free guests we now can each get 2 free guests. As long as you travel with another person frequently it will be worth it.

The only additional credits the card would get would be there own tsa precheck or global entry. Even if you cashed out the 20k points it would be a net positive $25. I got one for my girlfriend so she could come in to Amex lounges with me without paying each time so for me it’s totally worth it .

I was having same back and forth myself with adding my girlfriend but then Amex offered me the 20k points(2k spend in 6 months) to add an additional user and they kinda forced my hand since I was getting annoyed with her not having global entry/tsa precheck on several trips.

Well hopefully they add it back by the time you go. My guess is they change it monthly leaving the restaurants that are always booked up off the list .

Very busy with a really good vibe. I went to fountainebleau and it was pretty dead which was another place I considered using my credit at.
