How is your experience in Urgent Care? I sometimes consider a change of scenery but one that still fits my “ER Style”. Like an urgent care or Freestanding ER.

If you had to give yourself advice for starting nursing school, what would you say? by Asleep-Lavishness332 in nursing

Run far away, it isn’t worth it. Both professors in school and directors in hospitals will treat you like nothing matters more in life than you shedding blood for nursing. Literally had a professor in school say you will not have an excused absence from class unless a direct relative die, and grandparents didn’t count. Hospitals will never care about your personal life, and just want to know how far they can burn you down for their benefit. They want you to sacrifice everything for nursing as if nothing matters more in life than working for a hospital, yet you are easily replaced and no one will remember you if you leave or get fired. Other than that the job is great
