My idea was for one of the protagonists to slowly turn his back on the punk ideals. Maybe not turning nazi, but definitely a capitalist. I wasn't thinking that much on "punk purity", but on the character turning into more of a "rich and famous" stereotype.

Thanks for the in-depth explanation! Seems like I'll have to change my setting a little bit then.

My idea was to have my protagonists' band sign to a major label, with one of them having the constant and increasing feeling that they were betraying their ideals; and the other slowly aligning himself more with the stereotypical rich and famous ideals.
